The method involves reinforcing a lining component (10) by a reinforcement structure (20) that is provided at a laminar lining layer (14) and includes a fluidic, hardenable material. A strand (16) is extruded from the fluidic, hardenable material on a surface (14a) of the laminar lining layer at a predetermined area (20a) so as to form the reinforcement structure and to connect the reinforcement structure with the laminar lining layer. The surface of the laminar lining layer is provided at the area for strand application.
