<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of enhancing cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes a positive electrode 21, a negative electrode 22, an electrolyte, and a separator 23 arranged between the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22 and impregnated with the electrolyte. The electrolyte contains a solvent and an electrolyte salt, and the solvent contains a cyclic compound having disulfonic anhydride group (-S(=O)<SB>2</SB>-O-S(=O)<SB>2</SB>-) and succinonitrile. Since the chemical stability of the electrolyte is enhanced compared with when the solvent does not contain the cyclic compound having disulfonic anhydride group and the succinonitrile, or the solvent contains either one of theses, the decomposition of the electrolyte is suppressed even if charge discharge is repeated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
