PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for lowering the heat of hydration of cement, which can satisfactorily continue an effect of lowering the heat of hydration without necessitating special equipment such as storage equipment and cooling equipment and without causing defective hardening. SOLUTION: There are provided: a cement admixture obtained by coating urea with a coating material having 40-80°C melting point; another cement admixture obtained by coating urea with paraffin; and a cement composition containing one of these cement admixtures and cement.
