<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter counting device capable of accurately counting a numerical quantity of printed matters at a printed article production line including a printer, a folder, a conveyor, a stacker bundler, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The printed matter counting device includes: a necessary numerical quantity setting means for setting a necessary numeral quantity that is a numerical quantity of printed matters necessary by a setting input; a printed matter numerical quantity counting means for counting a print numerical quantity that is a numerical quantity of matters printed by a printer with a start input as a starting point; a conveyance amount calculation means for calculating, based on a printing speed, a conveyance amount that is a numerical quantity of printed matters printed by the printer and present in a conveyance path; a total print numerical quantity calculation means for adding together the print numerical quantity and the conveyance amount to calculate a total print amount; and a display means for displaying at least the necessary numerical quantity and the total print numerical amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
