<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of inventory of articles related to the same storage place and fit the inventory by repeatedly allowing the reading of the information of radio tags stuck at the storage place. <P>SOLUTION: A reader 110 reads tag discriminating information from a place tag Ta stuck to a storage shelf 102 for the article 101 and an article tag Tb stuck to the article 101. The reader 110 decides whether or not the tag discriminating information at the place tag Ta is read on the basis of the read tag discriminating information.
