PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving its performance without changing a dimension of a fin width, and an indoor unit of an air conditioning device comprising the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 3 includes a fin 4 and a heat transfer tube group 5. The fin 4 is extended roughly in the vertical direction. The heat transfer tube group 5 is composed of a plurality of heat transfer tubes 51a, 52a penetrating through the fin 4. The heat transfer tube group 5 has an upstream-side heat transfer tube group 51 and a downstream-side heat transfer tube group 52. The upstream-side heat transfer tube group 51 is positioned at an upstream side of the airflow Wr passing through the fin 4. The downstream-side heat transfer tube group 52 is positioned at a downstream side of the airflow Wr passing through the fin 4. A first distance diA from the heat transfer tubes 51a constituting the upstream-side heat transfer tube group 51 to an upstream end section 42 of the fin 4 is longer than a second distance diB from the heat transfer tubes 52a constituting the downstream-side heat transfer tube group 52 to a downstream end section 43 of the fin 4.
