PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility, a large current on/off ratio, and excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer which contains at least one kind of composition represented by a general formula (1). In the formula, X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>24</SB>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl, straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy, straight-chain, branched or cyclic aryl, a ring A represents a substituted or unsubstituted benzene ring, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthalene ring, a substituted or unsubstituted thiophene ring, a substituted or unsubstituted benzo[b]thiophene ring or a substituted or unsubstituted phenanthrene ring, and n represents 0 or 1.
