[Class 40 (iii)] A teleprinter exchange system comprises means for recording on a tape a destinationindication and a message, an automatic transmitter controlled by the said tape having associated therewith means for recording the destination -indication and message and for recording the calling or clearing signal in a distinctive and different manner, means controlled by said recorded calling or clearing signal to call or clear to an exchange and means controlled by said recorded calling signal to stop the feed of said tape.
