A baby carriage (10) is provided with a frame section (20), a handle (50) rockably joined to the frame section (20), caster mechanisms (60, 80) for rotatably holding wheels, and switching mechanisms (100) having switching members (105) held at a predetermined position according to the position of the handle (50). Lock members (75, 95) for restricting the rotation of the wheels are provided to the caster mechanisms. The baby carriage is also provided with transmission mechanisms (120, 130) for operating the lock members in association with the movement of the switching members.
