<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make special printing such as gloss printing by connecting a drawing-in upstream part of a drawing-in route in a reversing unit to a conveying route. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with: a medium cassette 2 for storing a recording medium 1; the conveying route for conveying the recording medium 1 in the medium cassette 2 to an image forming part 10; and the reversing unit 40 having the drawing-in route 43 for reversing the recording medium 1 conveyed by the image forming part 10 and a delivery route 44 for delivering the recording medium 1 from the drawing-in route 43 to the conveying route. The drawing-in upstream part of the drawing-in route 43 is connected to the conveying route. When processing of the special printing (the gloss printing using transparent toner, for instance) is designated, the recording medium 1 is conveyed from the drawing-in upstream part to the conveying route. As a result, the gloss printing, etc. is enforced for a printed surface by delivering the surface printed once to the image forming part 10 again without being limited to a case of both side printing delivering a rear surface of the recording medium 1 performed with image forming processing to the image forming part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
