<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving amount detecting device which is comparatively less expensive and which does not require adjustment or calibration. <P>SOLUTION: This moving amount detecting device detects the moving amount in the width direction of an endless belt running in circular form. The device includes: an incremental encoder having a slit disc, rotating according to the movement in the width direction of the endless belt and adapted to output a pulse signal, according to the rotation of the slit disc; and a computing means for computing the change amount in the turning angle of the slit disc, according to the pulse signal output from the incremental encoder and computing the moving amount in the width direction of the endless belt, according to the change amount of the turning angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
