<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which smoothly performs recovery of removed toner to a developing device, while being constituted of only a simple configuration for adding a coil spring. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 of an electrophotographic system includes: a photoreceptor 51; a developing device 54, which develops an electrostatic latent image on a surface of the photoreceptor 51; and a cleaning device 56 which removes remaining toner after transfer on the surface of the photoreceptor 51. The cleaning device 56 includes a cleaning case 560; a conveyance screw 561 which is installed in the cleaning case and conveys the removed toner to an exhaust port 563 side; and a toner recovery conveyance path 8, which is installed along an outside section of the cleaning case, connects the exhaust port to the developing device, and brings the removed toner back into the developing device. In the toner recovery conveyance path, the coil spring 9 is arranged. The base of the coil spring is connected to the end of a conveyance screw at the exhaust port side, and the end of the coil spring faces near the connecting part of the toner recovery conveyance path and the developing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
