<p>The tool (1) has an auxiliary device connected with the tool in a separated manner and provided for detecting a spatial position of the tool relative to an object (20) e.g. wall, and for producing an alignment signal based on the spatial alignment of the tool at the object. The auxiliary device has a reproducing unit (18) i.e. thin film transistor-display, for reproducing the alignment signal in an optically and/or acoustically perceivable manner. The auxiliary device has laser-distance meters (24, 26) for detecting distance between the tool and the object. An independent claim is also included for a method for aligning a hand tool.</p> |
