PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head slider which can maintain a distance (floating amount) between a disk and a head during the operation of a storage device, and is easy in an incorporating process and design. SOLUTION: The head slider includes a slider substrate 105a, an actuator including first piezoelectric bodies 6a and 6c provided on the slider substrate to generate displacement of a d15 mode when an electric field is applied, second piezoelectric bodies 6b and 6d provided on the slider substrate to generate displacement of a d31 mode when an electric field is applied, and a first electrode 9 provided on the side face of the second piezoelectric body to support the second piezoelectric body, and a magnetic head 105d provided on the actuator. The first piezoelectric body has polarization parallel to a direction from the slider substrate to the magnetic head.
