摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visualize the transition of the shape of the crests of pulse wave components as contained in a pressure data detected in an electronic sphygmomanometer for measuring blood pressures. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic sphygmomanometer, individual pulse wave components 511-515 superimposed on the cuff pressures detected are extracted and the amplitude value of each of the pulse wave components extracted is identified according to the time of each of them. A predetermined color is allocated to each of the pulse wave components per amplitude with the passage of the time and each pulse wave component with the predetermined color allocated to it is arrayed on a plane (d) where the pressures in cuff as given when the respective pulse wave components are extracted are set on the axis of the ordinate and the passage of time from the extraction starting points of the respective pulse wave components extracted on the axis of the abscissa (541-545) to generate images.
