PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving path planning apparatus that can improve the efficiency of path planning for a mobile body.

SOLUTION: The moving path planning apparatus includes an imaging means for capturing an image ahead of the mobile body, an image processing means for applying predetermined image processing to the image captured by the imaging means to detect tracks present in the captured image, and a path planning means for planning a moving path of the mobile body according to the tracks detected by the image processing means.
