PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion of a resistant heater caused by intrusion of water into an electrode insertion hole and the occurrence of cracks in a welded part by the corrosion in a remote control box installed in a bathroom or the like. SOLUTION: In the lower case 3 of a box body 1, watertight walls 9 and 11 are formed to abut on and be fixed to an abutment surface 2a formed in the inner surface of an upper case 2 around an attaching hole 8 and the electrode insertion hole 10. The watertight walls 9 and 11 block intrusion of water from the outside into the electrode insertion hole 10. Consequently, corrosion of a resistant heater 14 exposed in the electrode insertion hole 10 and the occurrence of cracks or the like in welded part of the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 by the corrosion are prevented.
