PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely search for a noise source with high accuracy by detecting only an electric field vertically emitted from a wire with high accuracy and with high resolution by a relatively simple structure out of electric fields emitted from the wire on a board. SOLUTION: This electric field sensing probe 10 includes a coaxial cable 1 and an electric field diaphragm 2 disposed at a tip end portion of the coaxial cable 1. The field diaphragm 2, with an opening 2a of a prescribed diameter formed therein, is electrically connected to an external conductor layer 13 of the coaxial cable 1 to cover the tip end portion 11a while being mounted on the coaxial cable 1 so that the opening 2a positionally conforms with the tip end portion 11a.
