PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of aluminum hydroxide sludge, recoverable of crystalline aluminum hydroxide excellent in handling property with good operability and preventing an increase in the amount of a liquid in the system during processing. SOLUTION: In the processing method of an aluminum hydroxide-containing solution, a first recovering step and/or a second recovering step of crystalline aluminum hydroxide are introduced into the processing step of an aluminum hydroxide-containing solution. In the first recovering step, an aluminum hydroxide-containing solution is neutralized from the alkaline dissolution region of aluminum hydroxide to precipitate the crystalline aluminum hydroxide. In the second recovering step, an acid is added to the aluminum hydroxide-containing solution to prepare an acidic solution, which is neutralized from the acidic dissolution region of aluminum hydroxide to precipitate the crystalline aluminum hydroxide.
