<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can be connected with a replacing light-emitting element without removing a defective light-emitting element among a plurality of light-emitting elements and without causing such disadvantages as an increase of a thickness of the whole structure, the complication of wiring, and the deterioration of electric characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device can replace one of the first light-emitting elements 13 with a second light-emitting element 39 formed on the same surface of a substrate carrying a plurality of first light-emitting elements 13. A defective light-emitting element 13-1 among the first light-emitting elements 13 is not removed, but in place of the first defective light-emitting element 13-1, the second light-emitting element 39 for replacement is connected to normal remaining first light-emitting elements 13-2 and 13-3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
