ROOF HAVING FIRE/FLAME-PROOFING FUNCTION, AND FIRE/FLAME-PROOFING NET USED IN THE ROOF

The present invention aims to give a fire/flame-proofing function easily to a combustible roof such as a thatch- or straw-roof or to an existing roof without raising cost or needing large-scale water-reserving facilities. A roof 1 is constructed of a combustible material such as thatch or straw over a backing 9 assembled of rafters 7 and cross bamboos 8. An entire outer face or an outer face excepting an inside face of the roof 1 is covered with a fire/flame-proofing net 2 for blocking entry of sparks or flying sparks, and a refractory board 23 is attached, if necessary, to the inside face of the roof.
