PURPOSE: A surface treatment method for steel products using an anticorrosive aqueous coating composition and a steel product treated by the method are provided to ensure environmentally-friendly effect by excluding heavy metal or organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: A surface treatment method for steel products using an anticorrosive aqueous coating composition comprises a step of transferring a steel product heated to a high-temperature of 200~500°C to a coating bath(200), a step of coating the steel product with a watersoluble coating composition(20) comprising inorganic metal 3~7wt.%, aqueous resin 5~25wt.%, and a solvent, and a step of drying the coated steel product at the room temperature for 1~2 days.
