A high temperature additive manufacturing system (29) comprising a high temperature additive manufacturing device (38) for providing a metallic deposit (40); and a tooling system (30) comprising a mandrel (32) for receiving and providing shape to, the metallic deposit (40), a metallic cladding (34) applied to the mandrel (32) for reducing contamination of the metallic deposit (40), and at least one cooling channel (36) associated with the mandrel (32) for removing heat from the system (30).
