<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an deodorization apparatus capable of applying a uniform heating and deodorization treatment to an odor-containing gas and to provide a garbage disposer to which the deodorization apparatus can be applied in low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The garbage disposer is provided with a tubular first passage 502 to which the odor-containing gas is introduced, a second passage 504 equipped with a heater 55 to heat the gas and the deodorization apparatus 56 at the downstream within the tube, which are arranged in parallel with the first passage 502 and a returning communication part 505 to communicate the gas circulation direction downstream end part of the first passage 502 and the end part of the heater 55 of the second passage 504.
