PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material having excellent coating properties of a lithographic printing ink and not having a problem of scumming or lowering in plate wear resistance. SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate material comprises a water retention giving layer of the material provided on a support, and a water developable image forming layer having coating properties of a lithographic printing ink and insolubirized in water by heating on the giving layer. In this case, the material preferably comprises a water developable intermediate layer to be insolubirized with the water by heating between the giving layer and the image forming layer. |
