The system (1) has a medical device (6) e.g. lung ventilator (7), a patient monitor (8), an anesthesia machine and/or an incubator. A central unit (10) is provided for power supply of the medical device. A connecting unit electrically connects the central unit with the medical device. The central unit comprises a battery (5) and/or a rectifier (4) so that the medical device is supplied with direct current from the central unit. The central unit comprises a display screen (9) and LED lamp. A network cable (2) electrically connects the central unit with an alternating current source (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for power supply of a medical system. |
