METHOD OF SENSING ICE-MAKING TRAY ATTACHED OR DETACHED TO WATER PURIFIER HAVING ICE-MAKER

PURPOSE: A method of sensing the attaching/detaching of an ice-making water tray of a water purifier with an ice maker is provided to prevent an ice making evaporator from becoming damaged by the sensing of the attached/detached state of an ice making tray. CONSTITUTION: After a given time period from when an ice making system starts operating, the temperature of an ice making evaporator is sensed(S10). The sensed temperature is compared with a predetermined reference temperature(S20). If the sensed temperature is below the reference temperature, it is determined that the ice-making water tray is not attached(S30). While the temperature of the ice making evaporator is sensed, the temperature of the refrigerant is sensed on the outlet of the ice making evaporator. If the sensed temperature is over the reference temperature, an ice-making process is performed, the ice-making water tray is rotated and the ice is separated(S50).
