PURPOSE: A deep hole boring method and a deep hole boring method are provided to enable an operator to immediately check fractured deep holes by outputting fracture list when all deep hole boring processes are completed. CONSTITUTION: A deep hole boring method comprises following steps. The defect of a gun drill(20) is detected. If the defect of the gun drill is detected, the fracture of the gun drill is determined. If the gun drill is not fractured, a deep hole(2) is continually bored at the present boring position. If the gun drill is fractured, the gun drill of a principal axis(17) is replaced with a new gun drill.
