PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner for a dryer canvas which can surely remove paper powder and the like adheres to the dryer canvas without enlarging a setting space. SOLUTION: There is provided the cleaner for the dryer canvas, in which a brush 71 for brushing the dryer canvas 21 on the travel of the dryer canvas 21 in a non-action region not supplied for the drying of paper P is set, and a suction port 72a is opened on the downstream side of the brush 71 in the travel direction of the dryer canvas 21. A blow-off port 73 is opened on the downstream side of the suction port 72a. Peeling air is blown from an oblique direction which is opposite to the travel direction of the dryer canvas 21, and guided to the suction port 72a by the utilization of Coanda effect to together recover paper powder and the like.
