<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight cable stripper in a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The cable stripper clamps a cable between two clamping positions PP separated from each other by a predetermined distance, to position the cable in a cable space CS. Ring cutter blades 104 (104a, 104b), which are combined at the clamping positions PP to form a circular shape for cutting the cover of the cable positioned at the cable space CS, are provided to a pair of ring cutter blade holding bodies 102 (lower and upper holding bodies 102a, 102b). In response to the movement wherein a straight cutting blade holding body 103 comes closer to the one ring cutter blade holding body (lower holding body 102a), a straight cutting blade 105 crosses the region between the two clamping positions PP to execute straight cutting of the cable, the straight cutting blade being provided to the straight cutting blade holding body 103 in a manner of approaching to/separating from the other ring cutter blade holding body (lower holding body 102a) through the other ring cutter blade holding body (upper holding body 102b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
