PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual paper feed device for being miniaturized, regulating the rear end of paper in a paper feed direction in accordance with paper of various sizes, and carrying out stable paper feed operation. SOLUTION: This image forming device includes the manual paper feed device 30 with a manual paper feed tray 40 supported in a freely opened/closed manner to a right side face, and for taking both of stored and developed attitudes. The manual paper feed tray 40 includes a step part 42a protruded upward from a paper placement surface, and a paper rear end cursor 42 movable in parallel with the paper feed direction, which regulates the rear end position of the paper in the paper feed direction with this step part 42a. Thus, with the single step part 42a, the rear end of the paper in the paper feed direction is regulated in accordance with the varieties of paper including definite and indefinite ones. Moreover, since the step part 42a only needs to be formed at one place, upsizing of the manual paper feed device 30 is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
