PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle dispersion liquid for display in which fluctuation of electrostatic charge polarity to be given to mutual particles for display and an electrostatic charge amount is suppressed in comparison with the case when two kinds of particles for display in specific relation are not applied in a system where at least two kinds of particles for display with different electrostatic charge polarities are mixed. SOLUTION: The particle dispersion liquid for display includes: a first particle (its particle group 34A) for display which is constituted by containing colorant and a first ionic polymer having a counter ion, and moves according to an electric field; a second particle (its particle group 34B) for display which is constituted by containing colorant and a second ionic polymer with electric charge polarity different from that of the first ionic polymer and having the same structure as the counter ion of the first ionic polymer in polymer chain structure, and moves according to the electric field; and a dispersion medium 50 for dispersing a first colored particle and a second colored particle.
