<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for an MRI apparatus, which is easily attached/detached without neither coming into contact with an affected part nor moving a head part during an operation, obtains sufficient signal reception sensitivity, and secures the visual field of a subject. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The receiver for the MRI apparatus includes a helmet with a shape to enclose the front, back, and top of the head part of the subject. The helmet is constituted of at least three parts for covering the front, left back, and right back of the head part. Hinge parts perform connection between the parts for covering the front and left back of the head part and also between the front and right back of the head part. The three parts of the helmet and the hinge parts internally include conductive coils. The helmet has a slit to be fitted to a head part fixing tool for fixing the head part of the subject.
