The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a process for chemical amelioration of alkaline soils. The process, according to the invention, includes the successive distribution on the soil surface of gypsum slurry, obtained in the process of production of citric acid, defecation residue and solid manure, with mixing and application thereof into the soil surface layer, at the same time the components are taken in the following ratio, mass %:gypsum slurry�10à20defecation residue �30à40solid manure�the rest,with a humidity of the gypsum slurry and defecation residue of at most 30%. The result of the invention is to intensify the process for amelioration of alkaline soils.
