PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control apparatus that implements a further reduction in power consumption. SOLUTION: The temperature control apparatus includes a thermistor 59e for detecting the temperature of a heating element, an engine controller 5b for controlling the heat generation of the heating element in accordance with the temperature detected by the thermistor 59e, and a monitoring circuit 5c for monitoring the detected temperature, and stopping the operation of the engine controller 5b in a predetermined stop period depending on the detected temperature when a predetermined operation mode of a plurality of operation modes is set.
