PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer cassette capable of making variable the number of glass substratum disk sheets stored therein and enabled in random access. SOLUTION: The sheets buffer cassette for a glass substratum sheet comprises a square frame body (10), legs (40) provided at four corners of the frame body (10) on the under surfaces thereof, engaging sections (50) provided at four corners of the frame body (10) on upper surfaces thereof, support frames (20) installed at a prescribed interval between mutually-facing two side faces within the frame body (10), glass substratum support pins (30) provided on upper surfaces of the support frames (20) at a prescribed interval, and has recessed sections (60) engaged with the engaging sections (50) at lower parts of the legs (40).
