PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant additive which can be given a friction regulating capacity and rustproofing performance that are indispensable for practical use of a lubricant comprising an ion liquid, and which dissolves or disperses even in mixing it in an ion liquid so as not to inhibit the properties of the ion liquid as a base oil.
