PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more dynamically control workflow on the basis of attribute information relating to image data. SOLUTION: A data distribution system, which acquires the image data and distributes the image data, includes: an image acquisition means 101, which reads images and acquires the image data; a setting means 103, which sets the workflow defining distribution setting for the image data; an attribute information acquisition means 303, which acquires the attribute information relating to the image data; a control means 304, which controls the workflow set by the setting means on the basis of the attribute information; and a processing means, which performs at least one process to the image data according to the controlled workflow. When the workflow branches into a plurality of process flows, the control means selects one process flow from the plurality of process flows of the workflow on the basis of the attribute information.
