摘要 Provided is a stator placed so that its axis is approximately horizontal, wherein the temperature of a stator-core can be suppressed from becoming nonuniform in the axial or circumferential directions. Anchoring protrusion-sections (40) are formed in protrusion at portions in the circumferential direction of a cylinder-like main-body section (30) of a stator-core (21), across the whole area in the axial direction of the main-body section (30), and on the outer-side in the diameter direction regarding an outer-circumferential surface (31) of the main body. The anchoring protrusion-section (40) that has the uppermost section of an outer-circumferential surface (42) of the protrusion located level with or lower than the horizontal plane that passes through the uppermost section of the outer-circumferential surface (31), and which does not have the uppermost section of the outer-circumferential surface (42) match the border section with the outer-circumferential surface (31), is made to be the target protruding-section (41). There, a sealing member (50) that forms a sealing-wall section (51), which is mounted on both end sections in the axial direction of the stator-core (20), and which has a height equal to or higher than the horizontal plane that passes through the uppermost section of the outer-circumferential surface (42) is provided, and the recess section surrounded by the outer-circumferential surface (42), the outer-circumferential surface (31), and the sealing-wall section (51) is to be used as a coolant-accumulation recess-section (60) for accumulating the coolant.
