PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which performs installation or update processing with respect to software in the installation or update of software which can be confirmed not to affect a job under execution or a job under waiting even during the execution of the job.

SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the information processor, whether software that is an installation or update object affects the other job is determined by checking whether software on which the software of the installation or update object depends is under execution or waiting. Therefore, when the software to be installed or updated does not affect the job under execution in the information processor, the installation or update processing can be executed together with the running job.
