The mat (3) has a surface that is suitable for positioning of goods upto an angle of inclination of 45 degrees on a smooth surface without additional holders or fixations. The mat is temporarily or permanently attached at a lower side of a transportation unit i.e. pallet (1), by gluing, screwing, nailing or stapling process. The mat partly covers a surface area of the transportation unit. The mat is in the form of a disk, square or oval. The mat is arranged on a skid (2) or a board of the pallet.
