<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system having high effectiveness and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a power supply system 100 for distributing power to one or more loads 102 in a safety critical feeding network. The power supply system 100 includes at least one power supply 104, a power bus 106 and a distributed control system. The distributed control system includes a central controller operably coupled to at least one bus module 110 through a data bus 112. The bus module 110 includes a bus controller 114 operable to connect each power supply 104 with the power bus 106.
