PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a proximate projector in a network system structured by an infrastructure network. SOLUTION: Each of access points 11-12 manages a wireless network to be provided by SSIDs (Service Set Identifier) and BSSIDs (Basic Service Set Identifier). A PC 50 issues information inquiry requests to projectors 31-33, and receives the BSSIDs by receiving inquiry responses from the projectors 31-33 that have received the inquiry requests. The received respective BSSIDs are stored in a table. The PC 50 searches for the BSSID matching a BSSID about the wireless network, to which the PC itself belongs, from among the respective BSSIDs stored in the table, thereby detecting, as a proximate wireless communication device, the projectors 31-33 connected to the wireless network to which the PC itself belongs.
