PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change fund preparation system that can streamline and smooth services related to change fund preparation when stores engage themselves in part of the services related to change fund preparation to suppress increases in expenses. SOLUTION: The change fund preparation system includes a terminal 21 installed in each store. The terminal 21 has a storage means 35 for storing denominational data on cash in hand in the store where the terminal 21 is installed and daily denominational data on change funds necessary for operation of the store, and a control means 34 for, when denominational data on an amount of collection as a change fund for the next business day is input into an input means 31 within the range of the denominational in-hand cash data stored in the storage means 35, comparing the denominational collection amount data with the daily denominational change fund data to output denominational data on change fund shortage.
