MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SHEET-SHAPED PARTICLES FOR CATHODE ACTIVE MATERIAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably manufacturing sheet-shaped particles for a cathode active material of a lithium secondary battery, which improves battery characteristics such as capacity of a lithium secondary battery.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of sheet-shaped particles for the cathode active material of the lithium secondary battery includes the following processes: (1) a slurry containing raw material particles is prepared; (2) the prepared slurry is molded into an independent molded body while a magnetic field is being impressed; (3) the sheet-shaped molded body is calcined; and (4) lithium is introduced into the calcined body.
