Disclosed is a coated solid preparation applicable to a one-dose pack, wherein the stability against moisture of valproic acid or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the same contained therein can be sustained even in the case where the preparation is stored in an unpacked state, and which shows suppressed deliquescence. Specifically disclosed is a coated solid preparation which contains, as the active ingredient, valproic acid or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the same and is coated with a coating layer containing polyvinyl alcohol and a swelling clay, wherein the ratio by mass of polyvinyl alcohol to the swelling clay is 8:2 to 3:7, and the swelling clay is dispersed as a laminate structure.
