PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved component packaging material 40 enabled in the easing storage, packing and unpacking work of components while utilizing the advantage of the packaging material of a split type. SOLUTION: The packaging material 40 is composed of a first body member 10, a second body member 20 and a bar-like connecting member 30 for connecting the first body member 10 and the second body member 20. On side surfaces of the first body member 10 and the second body member 20, engaging grooves 13 are formed for detachably being engaged with the bar-like connecting member 30.
