Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the powdery tea includes treating tea leaves with a solution containing at least any one of dextrin and starch, drying and then grinding the tea leaves. In the operation, preferably the dextrin or the starch or the dextrin and starch in the solution containing the dextrin or the starch or the dextrin and starch is 0.5-20 wt.% based on the tea leaves before the treatment.
