<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time until control is reset to usual four-wheel steering control after abnormality of a front wheel turning actuator 5 is resolved. <P>SOLUTION: When the abnormality of the front wheel turning actuator 5 is detected and abnormality of a rear wheel turning actuator 9 is not detected, a turning angle of a rear wheel is controlled to an angle of a neutral position and driving of the front wheel turning actuator 5 is forbidden, and when the abnormality of the front wheel turning actuator 5 is detected and the abnormality of the rear wheel turning actuator 9 is detected, driving of the front wheel turning actuator 5 and the rear wheel turning actuator 9 is forbidden. Further, the abnormality of the rear wheel turning actuator 9 is not detected after the abnormality of the rear wheel turning actuator 9 is detected, the turning angle of the rear wheel is controlled to the angle of the neutral position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
