<p>Provided are a disc brake which can be obtained with increased manufacturing efficiency, and a method of manufacturing the disc brake. A ramp member (65) having a plate-like section (71) is provided to a ball-and-ramp mechanism. The ramp member (65) has ramp grooves (75) formed in one end surface (71A) of the plate-like section (71) so as to extend in the circumferential direction and having tilted bottom sections with which balls make contact. Recessed sections (301) are formed in said end surface (71A) at portions other than the portions in which the ramp grooves (75) are formed, and each recessed section (301) is provided around each ramp groove (75) and is recessed toward edges (75d-75f) of the ramp groove (75).</p> |
